Mawia Katiwa

Mawia Katiwa is a university student passionate about nonprofit management and education-focused initiatives. A graduate of Daraja Academy, she has been involved in community and academic projects that explore how education can drive equity and empowerment, particularly for girls and young women. Through her role as a Development & Partnerships Intern with ICGS, Mawia is eager to strengthen her skills in donor relations, media monitoring, and data management while contributing to the organization’s mission of advancing girls’ education globally. She is especially interested in how strategic partnerships can expand opportunities for girls and create long-lasting impact.
