Ernestine Da Silva

Ernestine serves as the Executive Assistant to the Global Executive Director at ICGS. A firm believer in the power of all-girls education, she was shaped by her experience as an alumna of St. Scholastica’s Academy Marikina, an all-girls Catholic school in the Philippines under the Benedictine order. Her education there ignited a passion for girls’ empowerment, which she carries into her professional life.
With a wealth of experience in educational administration, Ernestine has made a meaningful impact as the Executive Assistant to the Head of School and Board of Governors at Balmoral Hall School, an independent all-girls school. In this role, she provided essential support to the school’s leadership, ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering collaboration with senior management.
Before joining Balmoral Hall, she was the Faculty Support and Continuing Legal Education Coordinator at Cornell Law School, where she enjoyed managing various academic and administrative tasks for law professors.
Ernestine holds a Bachelor of Technology in Graphic Communications Management from Toronto Metropolitan University and has also participated in professional development programs at Cornell University, including The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
Her blend of experience and enthusiasm makes her a passionate advocate for girls’ empowerment in academic settings, and she is proud to be part of ICGS’s vision of elevating women’s leadership worldwide.
