Loren drives the Australasia’s engagement with schools, business, community and industry organisations establishing successful partnerships and initiatives to advance the education of girls in girls’ schools, including ‘Yarning Up’ a collaboration with Bond University honoured with the 2016 Queensland Premier’s Reconciliation Award.

As Loren led AGSA for 10 years prior to the merger with ICGS and is at the forefront of girls’ education, she continues to identify ways to address the most pressing needs of Australasian member schools, their staff and students, through innovative resourcing and programming.

Loren has a strong commitment to gender equality leading campaigns through the media on issues of gender disparity and calling out issues of misrepresentation and gender bias. With a background in service-based client-focused industries including education, advertising and tourism Loren has overseen the strategic direction and growth of the Australasian region expanding its remit towards the resolution of issues of gender equality and equity of opportunity that continue to operate in society.

As a spokesperson for girls’ education, Loren is frequently interviewed by media and has written several opinion pieces for print and digital media on girls’ education and social issues concerning girls and women. Loren has presented at national and international conferences and on webinars and podcasts on girls’ education.

Prior to joining the AGSA Loren led the successful communications, community relations, fundraising and enrolment strategies for a high-profile Australian girls’ school for over 10 years. She has also served as a director of The Australian Gender Equality Council and UNIQ You.

Loren holds an MBA from Charles Sturt University, NSW; an undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Technology, Sydney; and a Graduate Diploma in Education from Charles Darwin University, NT.
