Arya Moodley
Arya Moodley is a third-year Law and Arts (Politics) student at the University of Sydney with a strong interest in education, governance, and equity. Her passion for advocacy and leadership began in high school at St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls, where she founded the Change Makers Club to encourage more young women to engage in politics and public debate. She has since expanded this commitment to the global stage, studying abroad at Trinity College Dublin and completing the Yale Young Global Scholars program, both of which strengthened her interest in cross-cultural collaboration and inclusive governance. Arya is also dedicated to amplifying youth voices in public life and, as Head of School Engagement for Raise Our Voices Australia, she helped lead the “Youth Voice to Parliament” initiative, giving young people the opportunity to deliver speeches in the national parliament. Alongside her advocacy, she brings legal and professional experience through her role as a legal intern at Eucalyptus, a leading Australian healthcare company. Across her academic, professional, and leadership experiences, Arya remains committed to advancing civic participation and social justice, with a particular focus on expanding opportunities for girls and young women in education and public life.
