We have intentionally built in multiple opportunities for girls’ school educators, advocates, and allies in attendance at the 2024 ICGS Conference to spend time in community with one another to grow your personal and professional networks. In addition to the Conference Mobile App, which will allow delegates to share contact information and be in conversation, we have made available optional activities that will take place during the three days that we will be gathered in Baltimore.   • Before the Conference begins, meet up with fellow delegates at registration and share lunch together in the Inner Harbor entertainment district
  • Connect with members of your ICGS Headways™ cohort at the Opening Reception
  • Tour the National Aquarium and enjoy desserts with fellow Conference delegates
    • Are you considering ICGS membership? While enjoying dessert at the National Aquarium, take a “Membership Walk and Talk” at 7 p.m. to hear how ICGS supports member schools. RSVP to Jean Baker, ICGS Director of Membership & Outreach, at jbaker@girlsschools.org by May 31.

  • Enjoy a morning run/walk around Inner Harbor with Conference delegates before breakfast
  • Join in a tabletop conversation during breakfast or lunch
  • Explore the vibrant heart of Baltimore with a walking tour of the Inner Harbor. This excursion offers a journey through the city’s rich history, signature landmarks, and lively waterfront. From the iconic USS Constellation to the modern National Aquarium, our tour showcases the diverse attractions that make Baltimore’s Inner Harbor an inviting destination for locals and visitors alike. – led by Dante Beretta, Latin Teacher and School Archivist at Garrison Forest School
  • Enjoy an evening at the ballpark, and watch the Baltimore Orioles vs. Cleveland Guardians (tickets $30)
  • Connect with members of the Baltimore Conference Planning Committee and participate in your choice of Dine Around options (five options available at a variety of locations within a short distance from the Conference hotel; 8-12 diners per option; participants are responsible for the cost of their meals.)
