Travel Information
Melbourne Girls Grammar (MGGS) is located at 86 Anderson Street, South Yarra. The two main airports in Melbourne are Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine, 29km) and Avalon Airport (Lara, 60km). The closest train stations are South Yarra Station (Frankston, Sandringham, Pakenham and Cranbourne lines) and Richmond Station (all other lines), both a 17–20-minute walk from the school. There is also a bus stop directly in front of the school on the 605 route running between Gardenvale and the City.
ICGS has secured a conference rate at the Royce Hotel, a 10-minute walk from MGGS.
Parking is not available on campus, however there is limited 3-hour parking surrounding the school on Anderson Street and 4-hour parking on Walsh Street and Clowes Street. Please note that traffic in Melbourne can be quite busy during the weekday morning commute, and delegates are advised to allow plenty of time for travel and parking to take part in the Symposium’s full Schedule of Programming.
